European EoE Day 2022
European Eosinophilic Oesophagitis Day is a great chance to bring together patient associations and medical communities from a number of European countries. This way we can team up, work together and raise the profile of this emerging disease which is largely unknown today.
On 22 May, street events are to be held across several European countries to enhance awareness about EoE. Talks, performances and rallies of all kinds will bring this disease into the spotlight.
Eosinophilic oesophagitis is an emerging disease that’s largely unknown. So we need to raise its profile and get more support to achieve:
- - Shorter diagnostic delays.
- - More non-invasive diagnostic methods.
- - More doctors or interdisciplinary teams familiar with the disease to manage it successfully while not neglecting the patient's quality of life.
- - Access to specific drugs.
- - Funding for available drugs.
- - Professional help in dietary approaches.
